- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Myers was very pompous, condescending and quite nasty when I didn't agree with how he wanted to determine if my injury (fracture) was healed. I had multiple X-rays before finally having an MRI, that was the only way they found my fracture. He knows this, but wouldn't send me for a follow-up MRI, for whatever reason, I'm not sure. It is obvious to me that this man doesn't like anyone to question his authority or so-called "knowledge". He also felt he had to correct me when I referred to the area of my injury as my "back", not my pelvis. His practice specializes in spine care, so if my injury isn't my back...why has he been seeing me for the last few months? This was meant to belittle me and put me in my place. His "need" to correct me was demeaning and uncalled for. This speaks volumes to me as to what kind of person he is, much less medical professional.February 17, 2017by Lorraine Thompson
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I would give zero stars, if possible. As others have suggested, he is as arrogant as they come. He insisted that I have cervical disc degeneration from c-5-7, without an mri. I got a second opinion in Lexington and guess what? No degeneration AT ALL! FOR A KNOW-IT-ALL, he didn't know much. Basically accused me of wanting narcotics, which I hate. He's horrible. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My fiance couldn't walk without screaming when I brought her to Dr. Myers. It's almost 6 months post surgery, and she's almost back to normal and has already been released! He helped her tremendously. We hate reading the bad reviews on this site. He's knowledgeable, straightforward, and to the point because he actually does know what he's doing. 30 years experience will do that. Seriously, just because he doesn't want to hold your hand and talk about the problem for an hour doesn't make him rude. He does have other patients to see. After seeing what kind of pain my fiance was in, it's no wonder he's in a hurry. He should be! The surgery room is where he shines, as it should be.
